Dr. Thomas Davis is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, after which he completed his post-graduate and residency training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in Lackland, TX, and dermatopathology fellowship at New York University Medical Center, NY.

After practicing dermatology and dermatopathology in the Air Force for ten years and serving as Vice-Chairman of the Division of Dermatology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Dr. Davis entered the private practice of dermatopathology in San Antonio for 25 years. During that time, he was actively involved in teaching dermatology and pathology residents from both the military training programs and UT Health in San Antonio.

In 2018, Dr. Davis relocated to Dallas to be closer to family and continues to be actively involved in resident education. In addition to holding several adjunct faculty appointments at training programs in Texas, he regularly teaches dermatopathology at several residency training programs around the country. He has served as a faculty member at AAD meetings over the years and has also been an invited faculty participant at many symposia focused on dermatopathology.

His passion is resident education, and he is grateful for the opportunity to spearhead Sagis Diagnostics’ efforts to be a key leader in dermatopathology training for residents across the country.
