Dr. Paul Sagerman is board certified in anatomic pathology, dermatopathology, and cytopathology by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology. He received his medical degree in 1988 at the Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. Afterward, he completed his anatomic pathology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Dr. Sagerman completed a cytopathology Fellowship in 1993 at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and a dermatopathology Fellowship in 2003 from New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.

Since 2005, Dr. Sagerman has served as the esteemed Medical Director of Pathology at Biomedical Consulting Inc (PBC Lab), an independent anatomic pathology laboratory in Tucson, AZ. He has also held hospital positions in surgical pathology, dermatopathology, and cytopathology and has served as Chief of Anatomic and Surgical Pathology at a major medical center. Additionally, for over 28 years, Dr. Sagerman has voluntarily served in various academic settings as a pathology department instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology, and faculty lecturer and researcher in New York and Arizona.
